Text Box: When your loved one has been arrested and locked away in a cell, nothing is more important than obtaining his or her release from jail. The release fees charged by our office vary according to the charges a client is facing. In general, the fees start at around $350.00 and go up from there, depending on the circumstances. On occasion, the fee could be slightly less than $350.00 or it could be significantly more, depending on the charges. Regardless of what fee is charged, all fees charged for jail releases are applied toward the cost of legal representation. This is an advantage of using our office to obtain a jail release, as opposed to a bail bondsman. And, even when a personal bond cannot be arranged, other type of bonds are available that could later be refunded to the client, upon final disposition of the client’s criminal charges. In the event that a personal bond or a cash percentage bond cannot be obtained by our office, we have a excellent relationships with a variety of bail bondsmen in the Austin, Georgetown, and San Marcos areas. We will be happy to discuss those options with you, in the event that we cannot get your loved one released on personal bond. Finally, it is important to understand that occasionally, a client and his or her family simply cannot afford to get him or her released from jail with the current bond. In such circumstances, it may take a bail reduction hearing, in order to get a reduction in the bond amount. In such a situation, our office will gladly do all we can.
